• After a mini tour of Thai restaurants serving Naem Khao Tod, the highlight was found at Spoon Thai: "The Spoon Thai version of Naem Khao Tod was all about the fantastic rice croquettes...That's a fine thing, because these were some spectacularly crispy, tasty bits of deep fried rice." • Though you're "gonna pay for the fish n' chips" at Owen & Engine—they cost $17 for a "not very large of a portion"—"they're so goddamn good it doesn't matter."
