Olivia's Market in Bucktown is a grocery store in the NYC corner bodega tradition, right down to the excellent black and white cookies they sell. Along with an extensive selection of groceries, produce, specialty deli meats, charcuterie, beer, wine, and flowers, Olivia's also sells a number of sandwiches made fresh every morning. The Turkey ($6.00) consists of Boar's Head Ovengold Turkey, Havarti cheese, sliced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and crunch sprouts, all layered between Labriola multi-grain bread.

The mild turkey pairs nicely with all the veggies, especially the crunchy cucumber. The sandwich is devoid of condiments, but the creamy Havarti cheese more than makes up for that. Seating is limited to a single bench right outside, which makes this the perfect take-home lunch after an afternoon of shopping on Damen Avenue. Be sure to grab a black and white cookie ($2.00) on the way out, too.
