Restauranteur Scott Harris is never one to make small plans. So, though a doughnut shop should in theory be a stripped down project focused on the singular glory of fried dough, he upped the ante by opening two of them on the same day. Called Glazed and Infused, this mini doughnut chain will serve both cake and yeast versions, plus a few speciality items, like the Maple Bacon Long John. If neither the Wicker Park or West Loop location are particularly convenient, you probably just need to wait a few weeks and one will eventually pop up. A Lincoln Park location is already in the works.
