Summer Solstice Potluck at Rancho Verde
6 to 9 p.m.
In honor of the summer solstice, Slow Food Chicago and Christy Webber Landscaping are hosting a potluck at Rancho Verde (Webber's headquarters). In addition to food provided by guests, there will also be delicious donated food and drinks including beer from Revolution Brewing, Red Streak cider from Virtue, and bread from Crumb. Dose Market
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Celebrate Dose Market's first birthday. Feast on food from vendors such as Lillie's Q, Seedling, Bagel on Damen, and Snookelfritz while browsing fashion and design displays. This event also marks the retail debut of Nellcote's house-milled flour and fresh pasta. Beyond the Weekend

Green City Market Chef's BBQ Benefit
July 12, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are available, but tend to sell-out quickly for the annual Lincoln Park picnic. The line-up of restaurants includes familiar favorites, such as Balsan, Lula Cafe, Nightwood, BOKA, and City Provisions, along with first-timers including Yusho, Telegraph, Browntrout, and Vera. Beverage sponsors are Goose Island, Death's Door Spirits, and Wirtz Beverage Illinois.
