Join the Green City Market Junior Board tonight at Ada Street for the latest Meet the Market event. Enjoy free bites created by chef Zoe Schor using produce from Kinnikinnick Farm. Cocktails, which mix the farm's produce with New Holland Spirits, will also be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from the cocktails will go to the Green City Market's LINK Matching Fund, which helps extend the food dollars of people on assistance when shopping at the market. Tomato Battle

Okay, so this might not technically qualify as a food event, but there is definitely food involved. As its name suggests, Tomato Battle promises to provide of 300,000 tomatoes for you to throw at thousands of other people.
