I don't take the prospect of walking Navy Pier on a weekend lightly, so when I heard about the Chocolate Festival that took place this past weekend, I had to do some serious thinking. Ultimately, I'm pretty happy that the promise of consuming vast quantities of chocolate won out over my distaste for slow walkers.

In case you missed it, I did the arduous work of trying upwards of 30 different kinds of chocolate products at both the consumer-oriented Chicago Fine Chocolate Show and the trade-focused National Chocolate Show. It was hard work, and I'm glad I had to do it.
