'Giordano's' on Serious Eats
Sometimes, you must heed the call of pizza, and if a guilty craving for a stuffed pie from Giordano's crosses your path, you can heed the call without having to order a giant pizza all to yourself.

Some of the best restaurants on the Magnificent Mile are either underground, way above ground, or slightly hidden behind storefronts. Search them out and you'll find food not only good enough to sustain you for more shopping, but also destination-worthy meals that are worth a detour.
Giordano's flagship restaurant might be loaded with tourists, but residents all over the Chicagoland area keep dozens of other locations busy. There's a thin crust on the menu, but there's really no reason to get it when a wonderfully gluttonous pizza is calling out your name.
We cut open the pizza and removed a piece and a little cheese from the remaining part oozed out to partially fill the gap. Stuffed pizzas are most definitely not for the lactose intolerant.
