River North, the neighborhood just north of the Chicago River, has no shortage of exceptional restaurants. But eating cheaply here is a totally different prospect, one that requires planning and some serious detective skills.

As far as chicken breasts go, this one is relatively tender, with plenty of crunch-producing char to make up for the cut's inherent dryness. The real draw, though, are the toppings. Fresh and crisp, these vegetables would brighten any sandwich they were party to.
The biggest tourist attraction in Chicago by a large number is Navy Pier, and though it's not my favorite place to visit, it's easy to see why it's so popular. Just don't eat there. With so many enticing and cheaper places nearby, you'll have a much better chance of eating well if you leave.
They have a strong potato taste, are twice fried to a nice GBD color, and feature a crispy exterior that gives way to a fluffy interior.
Epic Burger opened a brand new location today inside the old post office in Streeterville, it is the fourth location for the rapidly expanding local burger chain. Featuring a well-smashed patty and some pretty amazing fries, this is one location we wouldn't mind seeing a few more of around town.
