On a recent drive along Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square, I noticed that the maroon sign for Accanto (an Italian restaurant that opened a few years ago) had been covered up. It wasn't exactly surprising, as the location seemed odd for such an expensive restaurant. The new owners seemed to have taken the hint, replacing it with Blue Sprout, which is one of those Thai restaurants that also has a sprinkling of dishes from just about every other Asian cuisine you can imagine. You know, pad thai shares space with udon; you can get green curry or an Indian curry. Regardless, it is much more reasonably priced.
