The fifth annual Chicago Gourmet, which is once again presented by Bon Appétit, will take place in Millennium Park on September 29 and 30. The massive culinary event will feature "150 of Chicago's finest restaurants and chefs," with many of them serving up dishes, while others will give chef demonstrations. Oh, and there will be lots and lots of wine. Regular tickets for the event are going for $159 for a one day pass and $265 for a weekend pass. But starting at 10 a.m. this morning, pre-sale tickets for the event will be available for $99 for a one day pass and $185 for the weekend pass. Of course, the tickets are only available "for a limited time, and while supplies last," so I'd hurry if you were planning on going.
