Tips and tricks for making the best sandwiches at home.
Ok, so when the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich ($9.00) from Square Bar & Grill first arrived at my table, my first though was not how great the sandwich looked; it was, "Wow, that's a lot of fries." Like, enough for two or three people. But while the fries are well seasoned and super crispy, the sneaky chicken sandwich hiding in the corner is still the star of the show. A moist chicken breast is breaded, fried, and doused in vinegary buffalo sauce. It's topped with a slice of tomato and a mound of bleu cheese, and the entire thing is housed in one of the better pretzel buns I've had. Squishy and warm, it added to the sandwich rather than being being there just for show. While you should probably get your fill of the fries right off the bat (as they cooled, they became tough and too crunchy), the sandwich tasted even better after the bleu cheese had a few minutes to melt. Just make sure you save enough room, alright?
