GalleryFirst Look: Bar Pastoral
We've long been fans of Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine, a local shop that serves better sandwiches than it has any right to. But for the most part, the last part of the name (the wine) was meant for you to drink elsewhere. So we were especially intrigued to hear that the owners were set to open Bar Pastoral in Lakeview, where you'll finally be able to enjoy all of those cheeses and breads that Pastoral has always done well, but this time with a wine glass in your hand.
Head chef Chrissy Camba has plenty of practice in the art of fine dining and food. Most recently, she cooked at Vincent in Andersonville, and about a week before Bar Pastoral opened its doors, Camba also made her television debut on the first episode of season 10 of Top Chef: Seattle.
We were lucky enough to get a look at some of the dishes you can now enjoy at Bar Pastoral. Click on the slideshow to check them all out.
