Gallery: First Look: Reno, Serving Wood-Fired Pizza and Handmade Bagels in Logan Square

Hog Pizza ($14)
The kitchen is very proud of this one. It features pork belly carnitas, salsa verde, mozzarella, rajas, and cotija cheese.

Dining Room
For some reason the space fells much bigger, even though the dimensions are the same as the last place.

Making the Pizza

Butternut Pizza $11
This colorful pizza is topped with butternut squash, sage, gruyere cheese, walnuts, and extra virgin olive oil.

Pizza Upskirt
There are some nice char marks from the oven.

Branade Fritters
These fritters were a special for the night.

Fusilli Bucatini ($14)
Reno also makes all of its own pastas, including this strange blend of fusilli and bucatini. This dish also features lamb neck ragu, grilled peppers, crispy eggplant, fiore sardo cheese, and orange slices.

On the Table
Each table has two squeeze bottles: a Calabrian chile honey and a house hot sauce.

Sesame Bagel ($2.25)

Making the Bagels
Each bagel is made by hand. First, a ball of dough is sprinkled with flour. Then it is stretched to form a ring. The ring is carefully rolled on the work surface until it is smooth. Finally, it's set aside on a sheet pan. All of these will be boiled, before being baked in the wood-fired oven.
