Big servings are a thing at Hub 51 and I don't mind one bit. Not when the dish in question is as tasty as the roasted chicken french dip sandwich ($11). It's definitely big enough to share, but I don't recommend it.

A lightly toasted baguette is piled with thinly sliced roasted chicken, melted provolone cheese and green peppers. I'm surprised that the chicken is as flavorful and moist as it is. Even without dipping it in the side of jus, the sandwich is excellent. Savory chicken broth takes it from excellent to outstanding though. This is a new addition to Hub's sandwich lineup, and I prefer it to most roast beef french dips I've tried. The baguette holds up nicely after being dunked in jus and a side of giardiniera will satisfy anyone looking for a little spiciness and crunch.
