The 2013 Chicago Korean Festival was this past weekend. Every year, it's a fun celebration of Korean culture, including entertainment, breakdancing competitions, and of course, lots of Korean food. It's one of the more interesting street festivals; rather than the usual Chicago street festival food (hot dogs, French fries, funnel cakes, etc), the Chicago Korean Festival is almost all Korean food. Being a fellow first generation Korean-American myself, I joined the fun, repped my pride, and enjoyed the food I grew up with.
Check out some of the scenes and good bites in the slideshow!
