The Stars Have Arrived: Check Out the 2014 Chicago Michelin Guide

The latest happenings around Chicago.

It was a feel good year for the Chicago Michelin Guide, as no restaurants were bumped off the list. Plus, six joined the club, bringing the total number of starred restaurants to 25.

Once again, Alinea scored three stars, the guide's highest rating. While no other restaurant garnered as many, four places picked up two, including L20, Sixteen (making the jump from one star), Grace (on its first year of eligibility), and graham elliot. The latter restaurant just announced that it would be closing at the end of the year, though chef Graham Elliot intends to reopen it in a different location.

Five restaurants joined the one star club. Those include a couple of new openings (Elizabeth, Senza), a couple that should have made the list years ago (North Pond, El Ideas), and one surprisingly awesome restaurant that just announced its chef, Lee Wolen, was leaving (The Lobby). [Editor's Note: Just learned moments ago that chef Wolen will be the new executive chef at BOKA, which also has one Michelin star.]

You can check out all of the winners below. (The new additions to the list are set off with an asterisk.) And let us know what you think of this year's list.
