Ever gone out to eat with friends and spent loads of cash, only to feel like the restaurant treated you more like a burden than a paying customer? Let's face it, some places are absolutely terrible for groups—the tables are too small, the "shared plates" are too tiny to share, the music is too loud, the lines are too long, and on and on. That's not to mention the places that flatly refuse to serve large groups, preferring the intimate over the boisterous.
But some places not only allow large parties, they embrace the crowd. In fact, they are more enjoyable the bigger the table. These are places where talking loudly and sampling your neighbors dish is encouraged.
