Ever since popping up over the summer, The Nosh has been keeping busy. The weekly gathering of food vendors started in a parking lot in Wicker Park, before teaming up with the Logan Square Farmers Market a few months ago. But if neither of those locations worked for you, this one might: for the next two weeks, The Nosh is setting up on the second floor of Block Thirty Seven, perhaps the most conveniently located building in Chicago (well, if you ride the L, it is—driving is a whole different story). Loop lunchers should especially take note, because the pop up is bringing a number of great options to the area.
Open every weekday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. until December 13th, the pop up features 15 local food vendors, along with a number of food trucks. The collection includes some genuinely impressive choices, including Pecking Order, Bento Box, Lindy's Chili, and Bang Bang Pie.
I stopped by on its first day, sampling a few dishes along the way. Take a look at the slideshow to see for yourself.
