Now that we've gotten all of the year-end list making out of our system, it's officially time to stop cataloging all the food we've already eaten, and get to the business of thinking of all the food we need to eat. And that's where we need your help. What places should we try that we haven't already covered? Any cuisines or neighborhoods you feel like we've neglected? What about recent openings that deserve attention? Let us know in the comments!
One topic that definitely needs to be addressed is Indian food. Hardly a month goes by without someone asking for our recommendations on Devon Ave, which is lined with dozens and dozens of Indian and Pakistani restaurants. We've explored a little bit, but we need to get serious about both eating along Devon and tracking down great Indian restaurants elsewhere in the city and suburbs.
Though we feel a bit snowed in at the moment, and next Monday's high of -8°F (no joke) has us literally shaking in our boots, once we do shovel our way out, we can't wait to get to the important business of eating in Chicago.
